Water Treatment Plant Operator
The Benton Washington Regional Public Water Authority has an open position for a Water Treatment Plant Operator Position. This position is for a NIGHT OPERATOR position working 12 hour shifts from 7 PM until 7 AM. Weekly work shifts are either 36 or 48 hour weeks, with 8 hours overtime on the 48 hour / 4 day weeks, plus a night shift differential for all night shift work. Starting pay ranges from $16.00 per hour to $25.50 per hour depending on experience in water treatment plant operations and level of Arkansas Dept. of Health Water Operator Certification currently in possession. However, appropriate licensing training can and will be provided to the applicant once hired if needed. Minimum requirements are that the applicant be a minimum of 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be able to work outdoors in all conditions, climb stairs and ladders, and be able to pay attention to details and changing work conditions. Benefits start after 30 days on the job and include medical, vision, dental and life insurances, as well as paid vacation and sick leave.
