Maintenance Mechanic

Hiland Dairy Foods has an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic. Perform general maintenance work to avoid possible failures and malfunctions. Assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner. Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot them. Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs and replacements as needed. Handle emergency maintenance and repair work. Maintain and complete records of daily maintenance activities. Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents. Keep work areas in a clean and safe manner. Maintain the maintenance tools and equipment in a safe, clean and good working conditions. Provide assistance to co-workers and other departments when needed. Adhere to company policies, safety regulations and osha requirements. Perform maintenance tasks based on pictures, blueprints, written descriptions and oral instructions. Needs to be very dependable. Special skills: mechanically inclined and quality minded.
