Key Responsibilities: Perform basic work in construction and maintenance of all substations, transmission, collection system, and battery storage systems. Supports emergency response during after hour call-outs. Establishes and maintains tooling, inventory, equipment, and vehicles. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and market requirements. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid drivers license One year of technical experience in the renewable energy industry, OR six (6) months of technical electrical experience and a certificate of completion from a technician program, OR a minimum of three (3) years electrical and mechanical experience. Ability of carrying up to 50 lbs. in weight. Experience using and understanding diagnostic tools (Flukemeter) Basic computer operation skills, familiar with internet-based program navigation and have the ability to generate and interpret computer data. Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and schematics with attention to detail. Ability to follow safety protocols on site. Effectively communicate with third parties, vendors, and co-workers. The selected candidate will be provided on-the-job training and outside formal training. Secondary responsibilities will be tailored to individual candidate backgrounds as well as company priorities.
Compensation and benefits offered will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. If the candidate does not currently live in in Crane County, and would need to move from another city, a relocation fee will be offered. The position will be based in Crane County, TX and will be required to travel to support all assets in operations and under construction. If applicant is selected as a final candidate for the position, the applicant will be subject to a background check before a final employment offer can be extended to the applicant.
