Business Systems Coordinator
The North Carolina Board of Nursing is seeking applications for a Business Systems Coordinator. Position requires collaboration with a multi-tasking team where strong verbal and written communication skills, courtesy and professionalism are essential. Position requires project organization and attention to details along with strong critical thinking and sound judgment. Applicant must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Major essential functions include:
- Maintaining staff computer systems and operations support. Monitoring and maintaining local area network systems administration and operations support
- Monitoring internal/external ticketing system and delegating tasks as appropriate
- Operating AV equipment and supporting staff on use of equipment for video conference, web conference, virtual meetings and in-office presentations/audio
- Researching and recommending modern technology to help staff complete tasks more efficiently. Training and supporting employees on new software/equipment during preliminary and advanced use stages.
- Supporting, collaborating and training staff related to organization’s document management system
Education and Experience:
Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science or related technology field OR an Associate degree in related technology field and combination of certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+ and CompTIA Sec+ Certification, or better. Two (2) years of work experience in technical field and IT Certifications preferred. Experience working with ticketing systems, Active Directory user administration and troubleshooting network issues, VPNs and firewalls preferred. Experience working with audio visual equipment to produce both in-person, virtual and hybrid meetings a plus.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. This is a fulltime position located in Raleigh, NC office.
