Status: Full-time, 30-40 hours/week OR Part-time, 16-24 hours/week
Shift: Hours will vary between 6:00am-8:00pm, dependent on availability and staffing needs
Schedule will include every other weekend and holiday rotation

Job Summary
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.
Work with the facility's dietitian as necessary and implement recommend diet/meal changes as required.
Assure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
Perform any necessary record keeping (i.e. temperature log, etc.).
Coordinate dietary service with other departments as necessary.
Primary Responsibilities
Follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
Perform side jobs and additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, self, and staff
Cooperate with staff of other departments in performing job duties.
Responsible for meal service and accuracy of residents’ diets.
Collect meal orders, distribute, collect and tally resident menus as required.
Responsible for ensuring nutritional adequacy through serving food as indicated per each resident modified diets as well as provide feedback from residents to Dietitian on nutritional problems/concerns/observations.
Fill, sanitize and organize the pot sinks/area; record sanitizer titration per regulation.
Check trash cans continuously and dispose as required.
Keep work areas clean, dry and free or hazardous equipment, supplies, etc. If spills occur, report to management immediately.
Wash pots and pans per department policy and procedure.
Assist with storage of food and supplies upon delivery, in accordance with State, Federal and Local Health Codes.
Follow First In/First Out storage procedure.
Label and date products as required.
Responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guests. Follow established style and order of service while serving in the resident dining room and at special functions.
Required Qualification
- High School diploma or GED if over 19 years of age
- Must be at a minimum sixteen (16) years of age
